  1. You missed TrailForks πŸ™ . It is one of the single best Trail finding apps out there. I find it almost always has more trails with more detail than MTB Project but I do use both. The app works great on your phone and on the computer you can even do a 3D view of the trail which is awesome. It has more information and is more up to date than any other trail app currently out.

  2. Pro bike garage – an absolute essential. Links with Strava and tells you when services are due. Particularly helpful for tracking hours for fork servicing.

Strava – too roadie heavy for me to subscribe. I will pay when they recognise road and MTB as separate sports! I have told Strava (and I am not alone) but they are not in the least bit interested. Would be nice to search local MTB only segments, have a more accurate calorie count for DH segments (which use far more energy than on a road bike) and not compete against roadies in lycra on the road climbs to the trail heads.

Trail forks – +1 for this app. Can't see why it didn't make the list?

  3. For me association between Trailforks and Strava is the best. Your Strava ride is automactilly tranfert to Trailforks to count as stats in the region. Powerful tools for local trail associations. And Trailforks works internationnaly so you have trails with the good background map anywhere in the world.

  4. TrainerRoad for the XC rider wanting a training plan (many to choose from) to use with an indoor trainer. Necessary evil if your goal is to get in better cycling shape and improve your FTP.
